@Larry-McGee Ok. I would suggest you ask technical support how to skip the C++ 2013 installation part or which value you need to change in the registry. https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/how-do-i-contact-technical-support--1513/ It is likely some other key/value pair because the key/value pair listed above is for C++ 2017.

I had to remove ALL of the Windows Visual C++ versions before it would install.

After removing All versions, start the installer again and it will reinstall them, as well as ACID PRO.

*p.s. They OBVIOUSLY know of this problem. They should include this information in their Purchase Confirmation Email and save us hours of unnecessary troubleshooting. 😠

I had this issue installing ACID Music Studio 11 once again after some time away. C++ error. This forum helped me as what ended up working was deleting "all" 2013 C++ files. It then installed without a hitch... like its supposed too. I wonder if this has been fixed in current versions. I also own ACID Pro 10 and was considering loading it also, but now I'm not so sure I want to deal with any install issues. Again, I wonder if Pro 11 has fixed this install issue.... Thanks to all who helped with info above!

Cheers and may the Music Season be 24/7/365 !
