error 1603 photomaster mx deluxe 2013 firebird sql server

when installing this error 1603 arose and also error code 80000026, Query value mxinstance 21 failed,Cannot find DB-Directory last error 183.

Can someone tell me what is happening.

Uninstall the software, then use the Magix Cleanup tool available here

http://support2.magix.com/customer/en/download/tools

You will need to login in with the account you created to get the download.

Run the cleanup tool - if you have other Magix programs installed then only apply the cleanup tool to Photostory.

Reboot your computer then re-install Photostory and do not change any of the default settings during install.

Hi johnbaker

Thanks for reply but I looked on Q&A and found a question that was almost like my problem,So I downloaded the Firebird SQL server download saved it then inserted photostory disc in it came up repair so I repaired and everything is now ok and I did not need to load Firebird SQL.

I could only find questions about this on the German forum and there was no definitive solution to the problem.
