Easy Multi-panel Photo Stream?

Dan-Juel wrote on 6/7/2019, 1:45 PM

Ideally what I want to accomplish is an easy (X,Y) rows/columns stream of photos to play on repeat for large projectors at venues. Would also be nice if I was able to templatize it, so that any time I wanted to produce a new show, I could just select a range of photos and they would display in an 2xN, 4xN, etc... automatically.

I've found a lot of powerful editing functionality in the PhotoStory software, and can achieve the effect I am looking for, but it is fairly labor intensive for such a simple process. I was wondering if there's any good shortcuts I'm missing here, or if anyone knows if a different suite is better suited to the task.

Thanks!

@Dan-Juel

Hi

There is a way of creating your own Collages - see this tutorial - wherever you see a reference to Movie Edit Pro (MEP) substitute Photostory Deluxe and the folder paths are now C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Photostory Deluxe\nnnn\VideoEffects\Collage

where nnnn is the version/year.

If you want an icon for the collage create a jpg image (not too large) and put that in the Icons folder, for a preview, export an example as a wmv, the size does not appear to matter however I would not go above 960x 540 and put that in the Preview folder. The names for the icon and preview must match those of the ctf file you create and the ini file.
