"DVDMaker.dll has detected a version conflict. Please contact..."

I originally installed Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 e-version on an emachines computer with an operating system of Windows XP.  That computer died so
I transferred the program to my new computer - Compaq, OS: Windows Vista, and the Magix program seems to be incompatible with the installed DVD burner.
When I try to burn a DVD I get this message: "DVDMaker.dll has detected a version conflict. Please contact MAGIX support. The program version requires the DLLAV32.DLL version 5.3.092 or higher. To fix this problem please load the burning routine update from the download area of the support page <http://support.magix.net>."
I downloaded and installed the "Burnroutines for programs released prior to 2005" but I still get the same message when I try to burn a DVD.
Please help

Hi,

Try the newer burn routines instead. Movie Edit Pro 12 isn't really *that* old. Here's a direct link:

http://download.magix.net/magix_burn_routines_2009_8.1.0.185_uk.exe

If that doesn't fix it, I'd try to completely uninstall the program from the system and perform a fresh reinstallation and reactivation. The message you get basically indicates that your installation (especially with regard to the burn routines) is corrupted.

Good luck!
