Sound Bit?  I wish if you could further explain what do you mean by sound bit or sound bite?

well in Music Maker supported audio could be imported using File Manager(browse, locate file then drag and drop on the arranger).

Bit, bite dosen't matter does it?

Cant find File Manager............ And whenever I try to import anything it automatically opens Catooh in which I then have to buy only what they offer. But I dont see anywhere where I can get to import something already on my computer. Suggestions?

Hi,

I hope you are using Magix Music Maker 15 (Purchased version not trial). Here is a screen shot of MMM 15 Premium( from Magix MMM 15 Premium info pdf) but it will be similar to your MMM 15. Refer screen shot look top left under Magix Logo there are two buttons if your MMM 15 is in easy mode you can not see full features therefore click on left button. As you will click left button the color of the right button will changed as per screen shot. Which means program is not in easy mode.

SOUNDPOOL/FILE MANAGER/SYNTHESIZER/TEMPLATES ETC.

Now click on the File Manager (refer screen shot with arrow) then browse where your audio files are:

After clicking File Manager you will see as per screen shot. Follow red number 1 and 2 marked by red to browse your file. Or you can use other items on left side that is:

CD Rom, Projects, My Documents and Data base.

Once again I will ask, do you got MMM 15 purchased version, if so is it download version and you have fully installed?

Thank you

Sure it does!  Actually, sound "file" would have been more accurate.  When it comes to communicating clearly, using the correct words matters.

When are you Brits going to learn to speak English?

@ Procyon

We Brits speak perfectly good English - the problem is in the use of slang.

In this particular topic I think the poster means 'Sound bite' -

Quote from the American Heritage Dictionary of Idioms -

'A short, striking, quotable statement .......... slangy expression, first recorded in 1980, originated in political campaigns in which candidates tried to get across a particular message or get publicity by having it picked up in newscasts.

Hmm think I'll rest my case here!!

John

Yes John, That's what I assumed she meant.  I realize we Americans have our own brand(s) of English, some good - some bad.  I was just trying to inject a little humor...or is it humour?

At least we can rest easy knowing singrockroll got what she needed.
