@Barry-Smith

Welcome to the Magix forums.

First, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there.

Second, in what way, precisely, is your picture being "distorted"? A screenshot of the PS interface and program monitor might be very useful so that we can see what you are seeing.

With all that extra information from you we may well be able to offer advice on how to avoid the problem.

I will ad 2 pics showing the picture distortion.

The details of your computer would also be helpful, but...!

Check under the fx tab, Image Optimisation. I think one of the settings there is creating the colour distortion, I think. Try ensuring ALL the various options under that heading are Off.

@Barry-Smith

Hi

The images are too small to determine if there is any colour distortion in the the left image, the right only appears to be darker however it is still not clear.

Can you crop the images to show the preview monitor only - do not resize the images.

Also check that the preview monitor is not set to Anaglyph mode - click the 3 vertical dots bottom right of the preview monitor and ensure No stereo is selected.

Thanks for your help Team; I think I will uninstall the program & re-install it to see if that clears up the problem.

@Barry-Smith

Hi

Did nothing suggested work?

. . . . I think I will uninstall the program & re-install . . . .

That may work however follow this procedure for un-installing/re-installing otherwise you will gain nothing if you do not remove the remnants of the program as stated in the procedure.

Please help us to help you by providing the information requested when posting, not doing so makes it very difficult to help.

Sorry Guys for bothering you.I found an answer. I started a new file in the magix program & the pictures are now fine. Got me baffled. I must have clicked on something I should not have in the old file. Thanks again for all your help.
