Different Versions of Same Product

Hi there everyone. I happen to own (or had purchased) several different versions of Xara Web Designer over the years. I've recently re-installed all of them to find one of them that will work for just the simple website/blog I am doing. I don't need all of the fancy interactive stuff that is apparently the hallmark of the newest/newer versions. Unfortunately, I allowed an "update" to the 2017 version and now, it won't let me access any templates. It wants me to upgrade a subscription, which, I don't recall ever having but wouldn't have wanted it since I don't need all of that extra stuff.

I have versions Web Designer 10 Premium, and the 2017 version of Xara Web Designer 365, and older versions dating back to 2013 and 2014. My question is...how can I just get the 2017 version back. This time I won't ruin it by updating.

And I really don't want to upgrade to today's version, and the only reason is that it's apparently a timed subscription service. A subscription is completely unnecessary for me.

Any help or clarification would be great and very helpful.

@Juliene

Hi

I assume that your Update Service expired and you did not download all of the Online Gallery - if you re-install after the Update service expires you get the original version you purchased and do not have any access to the Templates - Online Gallery to your computer.

Existing website(s) created using Web Designer are still editable, however you cannot add new features or widgets.

See here for the terms and conditions - 3rd column headed Unlimited use.

Thank you so much John for taking time to respond to me. Truly appreciate your help. That makes perfect sense as to why I can no longer see this content. Take care. 💯
