difference between Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus and Movie Edit Pro

except for the Add on programs, what is the difference between Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus and Movie Edit Pro 16? The comparison PDF is not available. Can I edit HD movies from my Canon 7D SLR with any of them?

The standard Movie Edit Pro 16 does not have AVCHD support, nor does it offer the multi-cam support. I wrote MAGIX a message saying that the link is broken on the comparison, hopefully that gets fixed soon.

I believe any standard HD format can be edited with either programs, I only have the Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus, I believe also the audio editing and as you mentioned the other add ons, number of tracks, effects, transitions, and export features are expanded in the "Plus" version.

I would recommend the plus if you are looking to do more that one project, it really does open your mind up for different possibilities.
