Hi

Where is your original question that George answered?

From what is posted above we can only guess what the problem is.

http://thaiinfo.orgExcuse me. Forget the question that George answered.
My problem is that i can’t delete my first index I uploaded.
I don't understand that will be a problem. Before I had domene from One.com. I  worked with the old Web File Manager. There I could work with index, and delete the index if that was bad.
Now I use Web Designer 9. This time I had 3 different pages, of index. I did not understand that the first reservation I had made was uploaded.
I was not aware that it was at the top of the page to Web Designer 9
I uploaded the index I looked at the display. There I made the mistake. After 24 hour came the index on the net. That was the ugly on top of the list, not that I see on the screen in Web Designer 9. After 3 days, still the first index is online.
I have uploaded several times the new index, but the first is online but only as "index"
I can only see index, not index.html.
How can I delete index. In the old Web File Manager that was not a problem.
There I could delete or edit the index. It don’t n take long before the change came online.
I am satisfied with Web Designer 9 A good designer program to work with.
I hope it's a small problem to delete that ugly index.
Have a happy weekend to you all.

Hi

Thank you for the explanation.

I would try correcting this problem by deleting the index file on the server using Filezilla. If you do not have Filezilla - download it from here and install it on your computer.

Set up the FTP details and login to your website.

Remove the index file that is wrong.

Upload the new index page from Web Designer 9.

I have changed Windows Firewall allow FileZilla.

Hi

. . . . I use port 14147. . . . .

AFAICS your website is hosted on Magix Online if this is correct then :-

     1.   Allow Filezilla to use the default ports for initiating the session, ie do not fill in the box circled in the image below.

     2.   In the Filezilla setting ensure that Passive mode is selected as shown in the image below

Only enter a port number and/or set Active mode  if specifically told to by your hosting provider - otherwise you will be waiting forever for authentication to take place.

Also check in Web Designer that the FTP settings are correct - in particular that no port is specified (unless specifically told to by your hosting provider)

Hi,

Here are some tips on how to do this and to make sure you are actually connected to the server.

Hi,

I think you may have downloaded the filezilla server, when what you really need is the filezilla client.

It is the filezilla client that allows you to FTP your files from your PC (the client) to a remote server.

FileZilla don't work. Can not find my FTP. I downloaded Online Welt FTP-Server .
No problem with this FTP-Server. With this program i deleted all files from my FTP.

After that i restarted my pc. I open Online Welt FTP-Server and see that all was deleted.
Then I opened Magix Online World and uploaded my index.html. When I open thaiifo.net, there was the sam ugly index.
What do I do wrong? You now?

Now I have uploaded  index.html. With Online Welt FTP-Server I deleted index.
Now I have a new problem. How can I upload a new page connected to index.html?

Here is my index: http://www.thaiinfo.org/
