delete and replace my music

Hey

I made a slideshow of 40 minutes with music

I want to delete the music and replace it with other music

When I delete my music ( is on track 4 )also my timeline and my slideshow is shortened

How can I delete my music without changing my timeline?

Welcome to the Magix forums.

From what you write it seems that your setting for the cursor may be wrong. See my screenshot below, especially the highlighted area. Before you delete your music track ensure the first of the two icons is selected, as in the picture.

If you have the second icon selected/highlighted, any change you make to one track will also affect any others; the first icon limits the changes to the track you are working in.
