@PETER-WALLER

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

I don't think you can create a "Title slide" at the beginning of a slideshow in PM Deluxe, sorry!

Slideshows in PM are, as I understand it, a very simple method of displaying multiple images, one after the other, with basic transitions, zooms etc. I'm not even sure they can be saved and/or transferred to another computer.

In order to add a Title Slide I think you need to look at a product like Magix Photostory Deluxe, which offers a much more sophisticated interface and output/export features. I see there is a Free Trial of the software which you could download to test; just be aware that all Magix trial versions are in some way limited when compared with the full version. All those limitations are removed if you decide to buy the product. Once bought, registered and activated a considerable number of additional features become available to you.

As an owner of other Magix software (PM Deluxe) you should be eligible for the Upgrade price.

Hi

A simple work around is to create the 'heading' intro slide as an image and add this to the slideshow album, making sure it is the first image in the sequence.

Hi John,

Presumably you would have to import this "heading" image as the first slide in the folder you use to "store" the show images?

And, am I correct in saying you can't "Export" a PM slideshow to be able to view it on a different computer? I ask because I wonder whether that is what @PETER-WALLER wants to do.

Hi

. . . .import this "heading" image as the first slide in the folder you use to "store" . . . .

That is correct, perhaps my statement 'image and add this to the slideshow album' was a little unclear.

My PM appears no longer runs on my PC (Windows 11), it looks like the C++ 2005 Redistributable is blocked (Blacklisted?).

. . . . am I correct in saying you can't "Export" a PM slideshow to be able to view it on a different computer? . . . .

The main video export options are AVI, MOV, MJPEG presumably in a MPG or MOV container file, MPEG (MP4 ?), WMV9 according to my manual.
