CPU usage...

Hi,
I just got music maker 15 and really like it but there is something happening that is really irritating.

I made a song with only about 6 tracks, and it's only about 1 minute long so far but within 15 or 20 seconds now, my CPU goes to 100% and the song stutters and goes crazy.

I have a Duo Core 2ghz pent with 3gb ram and a pretty big video card.

I can play the demo songs just fine...could the files themselves be corrupt?

Hi,

just an idea: go in the menu, first point (file), options, chose programm options. Go on the tab Audio/midi There is an option "Store Wave in RAM" (soory my version is German). Increase that file size to store....

For me it seems it has to do with file size....

Also make sure you're recording using ASIO drivers in Magix program settings - that will take much of the burden off your processor (with a decent sound card).
