The typical output of the program is a standard video DVD. You can do with it whatever you can do with a regular video DVD. Naturally, the whole slideshow in encoded into motion video, so there's no real separation between the individual images anymore. So, if you fast forward through it, you will only speed up the video and to look at an individual picture for a longer period of time, you will have to pause the show to freeze that frame.

I think I understand what you're looking for, though. You might find this in the "TV ShowTime" DVD menus, if available in your version of the program. If you burn your slideshow with a menu like that, it will use the DVD menu feature of DVDs in a very specific way to offer you an alternative mode where you can just navigate through the images one by one, using your remote. Due to the limitations of a DVD and its menu structures, you couldn't use it with a slideshow of so many photos, though. It would have to be considerably smaller.
