Hi

Without a Firewire port, you can only capture using a USB video capture device such as a Terratec Grabby, the camera must be connected to the device using the Composite/Audio output, you may have a cable with a 3 ring and tip 3.5mm plug on one end, and 3 RCA cinch connector yellow/red/white with the camera for this. You will not be able to control the camera, the playback must be start/stopped manually.

Note there are many devices advertised as Firewire to USB converters - do not use one of these cables, they may have the correct plugs on each end, however they do not work for video capture. The Firewire communication protocol is different from USB and they are mutually incompatible.
