Compatibility with JVC Everio GZ-MG21EK

I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG21EK; 4 years old. Will Magix work with this?
Have been using Cyberlink stuff that came with it.
Windows Movie Maker refuses to capture stuff from my Everio.
I have coped with Cyberlink but want to use slightly more technical stuff (I am an amateur movie maker.)

You have a Hardisk-camera. You can't capture, the files must be copied via USB to your PC. You'll find the camera as an external HD, and can drag the files over to a directory on the PC.
