Does the new vidieo sound lab product work with any video editing software or is it only with the Magix video software? If it does work with other manufacturers products can you tell me how it integrates.

I believe it is a stand alone program. I do not have it, but knowing MAGIX software, the end result would be exported as a standardized file to load in to whatever software you use.

Hi there,
its actually rather nifty, on the website I copied and pasted the following for you. So you work with the file, export it in the format you need to your harddrive, and import it into the program of your choice. There are free trials which always good to try out beforehand, but don't expect MPEG2 to work. One of those licensing anomlies for the trial version.
Import:

Video: (DV-)AVI, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (incl. AVCHD), QuickTime™, MOV, WMV, MXV
Audio: WAV, MP3, WMA, AIF, OGG, FLAC

Export:

Video: (DV-)AVI, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (incl. AVCHD), QuickTime™, WMV, MOV, MXV,
Audio: WAV, MP3, WMA, AIF, OGG, FLAC

Note: MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 must first be activated online for free. MP3 export requires the installation of Windows Media Player from Version 10.
