Combining soundtrack audio and video segment audio

I am new to Photostory and this is my 1st attempt to create a slideshow. It contains mostly photos but has three video segments of musicians playing music. I downloaded a music file to use as the soundtrack for the entire slideshow. However, I want to cut the soundtrack and fade out the soundtrack then fade in the video/audio segment. I want to fade out the video/audio segment then fade in the soundtrack at the point it was previously cut. I want to do this with each of the three video/audio segments. Help!
