Sorry. It is a videorecorder we are trying to connect - not a dvd, and it is not a commercial video but film of our children.

Hi

Check that the TV standard PAL or NTSC for your location is set correctly in recording dialog - IIRC it is under the Advanced option.

No But we are using VideoGlide Capture on MAC, just to be sure, that the wideorecorder and tapoe are ok

When we are using the videorecorder in Magix with windows, the transfer of data becomes blue.

@Susanne-Granzau

Hi

Have you tried using the MAC capture device, assuming it is a USB converter, on the Windows PC - the original capture device may be faulty.

Hi

. . . . Yes, but it is not working in Windows, eaven if it should . . . .

It should - if the 32 bit driver for it has been installed - Windows 10 will most likely have installed the 64 bit driver.

so are you telling us that it could be a problem if we have installed the 32 bit driver on our windows 64 bit?

johnebaker wrote on 5/14/2020, 2:47 PM

@Susanne-Granzau

Hi

. . . . that it could be a problem if we have installed the 32 bit driver on our windows 64 bit? . . . .

No - just the opposite - it is a problem if you don't have the 32 bit drivers installed.

Video Easy Rescue your Video Tapes (RYVT) ver. 5.0.3.113 is a 32 bit program (running on a 64 bit OS) and it can only work with 32 bit drivers, Windows 10 has likely installed 64 bit drivers.

Which USB converter did you get with the program ie - what colour is it and are there any markings on it?

You would also need 32 bit drivers installed on Windows 10 in order to use the MAC video converter with RYVT.
