Choppy crossfade problem Movie Edit Pro 15 and Windows 7

I am running Movie Edit Pro 15 with Windows 7. I don't know if that"s the issue, but after I burn a DVD of my movie, the DVD ends up with choppy, pixilated-looking sections immediately after every scene crossfade. I tried changing encoder settings when burning the DVD. I also tried shortening or lengthening the transition time, but nothing helps.

I never had this issue until I installed the program on my new laptop with Windows 7.

I'm up to date with all patches and updates.

Any ideas?

I am testing Movie Pro 16 and it seems better, but still has issues.
I noticed it happens to the file only if I go back and try editing the file after an initial processing and burning. If I create a new project, add effects and such and burn it, it seems to be OK.

I am not sure if Magix has ironed out all the bugs with Windows 7. I run their programs on both Vista and XP Pro with no problems so.....

It does sound like an encoding problem if you are getting pixiletion after a transition. Are you using vastly different resolution between your scenes? I have had trouble in the past trying to force two different resolution scenes to transition.

Try to download the on line program update for MEP 15 in the Internet, it may solve the problem. Run the MEP 15 program, go to HELP and choose the ON Line Update..
