Change photo date does not update correctly

Daniel-Elson wrote on 4/23/2019, 1:21 PM

I am trying to change the date of photos by right clicking and selecting the change date option. After filling in the correct date, the photos get moved into the current calendar year and are assigned to today's date. Is it possible to correct the dates with Photo Manger 16 Deluxe, or is this a bug with no solution?

. . . . I am trying to change the date of photos by right clicking and selecting the change date option. . . .

Is this in Photo Manager or Windows Explorer?

Works correctly for me if done in Photo Manager by right clicking the image and selecting Properties and changing the date as shown below:

Thanks, it's in Photo Manger. There is the option to correct the photo date on right click. This initially moves all photos to the correct date as set (2003), then one by one they get moved to today's date. I also tried this using right click/properties, but this moved the photos to the correct date and then one by one they got moved back to the incorrect date (which was 2007). So neither option produces the expected result.

That is not what I am seeing.

What is the version number of Photo manager as found under Help, About? Mine is 13.1.1.12.

I've got 12.0.0.20 so perhaps that's it. Will test more and check upgrades.
