I'm using photostory 9 and since upgrading to windows 11, i can no longer burn a disc in AVCHD format, it tells me i need to purchase an encoder, which I did but i continue to get the same message. Once i went back to windows 10 i once again had no problems, but i can't put off windows 11 forever.
. . . . . i can no longer burn a disc in AVCHD format, it tells me i need to purchase an encoder, which I did but i continue to get the same message . . . .
Phostory 9 is a somewhat old version released in 2010, and it is highly probable that it it is not compatible with Windows 11.
What codec was being asked for, a screenshot of the dialog would help. And which did you purchase?
I know it’s old, I do have 16 and 18, but I always go back to 9. As I have for now reinstalled windows 10, I can’t remember what the encoder they requested, but when I clicked the link to get it this is what they said yo buy
I also have purchase the original AVCHD encoder, which I also tried, but it didn’t work.
