cannot select advanced mode in Photo Manager Deluxe

I'm using a trial version of Photo Manager Deluxe, but I can't enter Advanced mode so that I can evaluate the Calendar function. The check box option to enter Advanced mode is missing. It pops up temporarily when I first start the program, but then disappear. And because of the I cannot get to the calendar view.

Hi

As is common with many trial versions of software the program is limited in functionality, duration of trial period or both.

In the full version the calendar view has various modes of display - two are shown below:

Thank you. That makes sense, but unless I missed it, this should be clearly stated / made know to the user who is evaluating the software. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why the functionality was not what was documented in the users guide, the help documents, and the website.
