Hello,

kann nicht geoffnet werden !

I have been working on this song for about two days. Some how the program keeps crashing and I constantly need to reopen files. It was troublesome but I had no other way. Now this message comes every time I try to open the MM16 files.

The File cannot be opened. At least that is what the German text is saying.

You might want to look where the projects save for a file with the same name with a .BAK at the end. This is a backup file, and hopefully that restores your project.

If this is happening to all your projects then there is some sort of corruption happening either with the software or other components that you have installed. You would probably want to find out what that could be, as it seems to have some serious consequences.

Hey thanks for the answer but

I am using windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop...do you think this might be a low config issue !

The issue could be many things. I find most problems happen because of start-up programs.

A start-up program is one that turns on as you boot up or start your computer. Some are somewhat necessary these days, such as antiviral software. Others, well they are very subjective... printer, instant messaging, CD burning. Networking, file sharing, defenders... all these little icons that hang out at the clock of windows, any one of those can be a program killer.

On top of that, these start-up programs take serious resources away from programs you have asked to run, and that can lead to some unwanted results.

When I got this HP Pavilion laptop, the first thing I did was shut down all the start-up programs. I uninstalled all the add-ons that HP thought I just had to have, and then I loaded in things I wanted. The only icons I have near my clock are the battery life indicator, my WiFi indicated, sound device, and antiviral software.

This gives me all the resources I can use minus the things that I think I need monitored.
