Cannot import HD into Magix

I can't import HD footage into Magix 15 pro, only SD. I could used to when I had the demo, but I installed the full Magix onto another computer then installed the full version onto this (putting the software on 2 computers at the same time. It wouldn't import,

So I got a new copy of Magix and installed it onto this computer, (one on each computer) it still won't import HD, what can I do?

What would be more important than the fact that this is HD material is probably what file and video format/codec we're talking about here. Is this MPEG-2 material or AVCHD or some other kind of HD MPEG-4 material? Maybe you can clarify this or even post a sample file here. Maybe you just ended up with some codec not being properly activated yet.

Also, do you have the classic or "Plus" version of Movie Edit Pro 15?

Hi, thanks for the reponse,

I've experimented a bit more and I can import MPEG-2 but not .AVI nor can I import h.264 MOV files.

I have the "Plus" version of Movie Edit Pro 15.
