I have having real trouble exporting to MP4. It worked in previous years before upgrading to 2021. Now it gets stuck at 24% and despite leaving overnight makes no further progress. how can i trouble shoot what is going wrong or are there any settings I can chnage to make it more likely to work. I have tried Full hD 50fps and 25fps and a lower resolution but still get the same problem.

What is your computer specification - see this topic for details required.
Is the program fully activated/registered or running in Trial mode?
From the export dialog you should be able to see the movie time at which the freeze occurs - what objects are on the timeline about this time? A screen shot of the timeline area (in Timeline mode not Storyboard) about this time may help.
