I just upgraded to Magix Photostory Deluxe 2023...on the help page it says Activate content packages....a window comes up I enter my serial# and it says the number is incorrect? I copied and pasted it from your email....now what?
These are user to user forums, so the email is not "ours"!
The serial key for PS Deluxe 2023 is solely for activating the core program. Any additional activation numbers should be included in that same email, often towards the end (even on a second page). So, have you checked right to the end of it?
Exactly which "content packages" are you wanting to activate? I seem to remember when I upgraded from the 2022 to the 2023 version everything from the older version transferred to the new and there was nothing additional to come. So, anything else would be an additional purchase, I think.
If you click on Help>Free Download you should see this screen:
Tick on any item you want that is not showing as "Installed"; these are the "program extras" that are free.

From the manual:
If you have a coupon code for downloadable plug-ins or Soundpool packs, this option can be used to redeem your code. The content package will be automatically downloaded and added to the corresponding template section in the program, where you can begin using it right away.
If you do not have a coupon code, for any of these, then the Activate content packages is not relevant.
This is for registering, for example, additional Soundpool packs for the Soundtrack Maker wizard in the program, or purchased Theme Packs.

Hello! I would also like to activate my content packs because anytime I try and use any of the effects labeled BCC I see a big red X in preview monitor. Do these packs come with Movie Studio Platinum 2024? Or do I have to purchase these separately?

Assuming you mean the BCC Chromakey plugin, you do not get the full suite, the serial number is displayed for activation in the download pane see image below, you need to insert this in the activation dialog.
To activate with an image or video clip on the timeline, select then apply the effect, clcik the Licence option shown below and insert the serial number.
If this fails temporarily turn off your Antivirus and try again.

Thank you for this response I really appreciate it. So I guess I would have to purchase those effects since I don't have a license for them, not a cheap purchase, when I went to see how much it was, over $200!!! No wonder the editor software was only $35, you have to purchase all those other nice effects as an add on. Thanks again for your help.
