Cannot activate an old version of Xara Web Designer 10 Premium

Bob-Osborn wrote on 9/29/2022, 6:55 PM

Purchased Xara Web Designer 10 Premium in 2017 and I am trying to re-activate it so I can use it again. I downloaded the program and ran the file but nothing happened. I cannot find any useful information on how to get the program up and running. Maybe it is too old to work under my Windows 10 desktop and/or my 11 laptop computers. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Stephen for the information. Do you mean I will have to upgrade to the Web Designer 19 Premium? It appears that the newest edition is a subscription service. The older Designer 10 was a purchase with no subscription needed. Looks like most software is going to the subscription service.

This is a public user to user forum and as such further advice could be obtained from Magix at infoservice@magix.net to discuss more in depth in order to provide you a better solution or simply accept the subscription service.

@Bob-Osborn

Hi,

Xara DPX19 from Magix is not a subscription and there is no subscription option. You get the perpetual program but access to the Online Catalogue Content for one year during which you can download everything. Once the year is up, no more access to the OCC but the program keeps working and you have everything that you downloaded. You also get one year of M-Hosting.

Xara DPX+ note the "+" is a subscription that you purchase from Xara, not Magix.
