Hi

I do not have Photostory, however if you move your mouse near the borders of the panes you will see the pointer change to a double headed arrow pointing in the directions a panes edge can be moved.

That's what I thought too! Unfortunately this stupid program does not have that option. I.e, the cursor does not change to the double bar as u say.
