I wonder if we can convert Tak files to wav in batch, example if there are five or six Tak files can we convert them using any method or any kind of software?

I can conver it in Music Maker by exporting one by one but I need any faster method if possible.

IF YOU ARE THINKING WHY I WANT TO DO THIS? then because when I click Tak files in Music Maker 16 Premium it stop working, it get freeze. My Music Maker does not like Tak files that is why I am asking this question.

Thank you

Just curious, I think you have Music Maker 16 Premium, is that right?

If so, maybe if you load each file into the Music Editor 3 that comes with the Music Maker, then have it set track markers, then export each as a separate file in the export screen.

If you need more information then just let me know.

BTW, what is a Tak file?

In the Music Editor 2.0 you will need to start a new VIP project.

It will look like the above screen shot. Once you have the VIP window open you will need to import your files. To do this press "W" on your keyboard, this will allow you to open a dialog to navigate where you have these files.

Once you have loaded in your files, then you go to the drop down menu for "CD" and choose to "Set Track Markers on Object Edges", this will add in the track markers.

Now, you go to the drop down menu "File" then "Export Audio", from here you choose the format you want the files to be.. and a new dialog appears.

Here just make sure of a few things. You want to save these files to a new location, perhaps a folder you create for the converted files as it might change what they are named. this way you have them separated from the originals. The other thing is to make sure you have the "Each CD-track in a File" selected so it doesn't write it out as one large file.

Of course, all this is dependent on if you can load a TAK file... which I haven't ever tried before.

Hello,

Thank you for detailed reply but sorry to say Music Editor won't load Tak files. After reading your first reply I had tried but it did not work.
