Can't see all photos in order to sort in Magix Photostory Deluxe

dale-ferrario wrote on 6/16/2018, 10:05 PM

When I try to sort the photos (I have 382), I can only see two rows in the photo sorter view. I have zoomed all the way out and only see two rows. There is room for at least two and maybe three more rows.

I am using Magix Photostory Deluxe v 17.1.4.150 (UDP3). It says Code UG 8657 KA4.

Hi

Check how many images are on the timeline - the screenshot you have posted would indicate that there are only 30 images on the timeline, also the view is not zoomed all the way out as can be seen below.

If you look at the bottom of my attachment it shows that I have 382 pictures. And if you look at the scroll bar on the right, you can see that it is pretty small. Yours is much longer.

That is because I have a lot of pictures. If I scroll down, I get more pictures but they are still only in two rows.

Here are two more snaps that show scrolled at the top and then part way down, always only two roles of pictures...

Thanks for any help!

Hi

My bad - thought I was up to date, however I was on version 17.1.3.139, received the patch notification today.

Now Photostory has updated to 17.1.4.150 and I can reproduce the issue - looks like a bug has been introduced in the patch.

Please raise a support ticket here referencing this topic - I will do the same.

Hi

After I posted and sent in a bug report, I did some further testing just in case there was an issue with graphics drivers - nothing found and changing to the different display modes in the program settings made no difference either.

One test I did was to add an extra batch of images when in the slide sorter - you can see the images loading and then they disappear except for the last one added - odd 😕.
