The fileformat of xxxxx.mp4 cannot be read in Magix Pro X7. Please make sure that the drive is not full or read protected. Not sure if installing the Mainconcept MPEG4 codec will do the job.
If this is the first time you are trying to import footage, then it seems to be the same problem that I had, you need to activate the mpg4 codec, (the intel one should be enough, no need for the MainConcept Mpg4 codec). I got the same cryptic message myself just becuase I couldn't activate the intel mpg4 codec, even though it is included in the price. (It works now)
If Windows 10, was this an upgrade from 7, 8, 8.1 or a clean install and was VPX 7 installed before the upgrade?
Windows8.1
It does import MP4 from all my cameras, but no MP4 from video's that were copied from Youtube using the YTD downloader and I am pretty sure that MEP 2015 did that flawless. Now using X7 (which is not so fast as MEP2015)
