Can't communicate with server to activate after 2022 patch installed.

Running Windows 11 with Photostory Deluxe 2022. Opened it up for a new project and it said there was a product update. After downloading and installing the patch, it required me to activate and register the product again. A box pops up and says it can't establish an online connection, and check if a firewall is blocking it. I have checked the Install.cfg file and the Network Configuration port = 5420. I don't know how to check for that on my computer. If it went out and downloaded the patch, what is the problem? I've gone through all the support site and can't find any help.

@benjamin-robinson

Hi

Assuming the Firewall is on your PC and is not part of a network - try disabling the firewall temporarily while activating.

Also check that the following HTTP protocols are turned on:

I checked the internet settings. The Use SSL 3.0, and USE TLS 1.3 were not checked. I checked those options. I am using Nortons 360 so I disabled their Smart Firewall and retried the activation. I had the same results and could not establish an online connection.

Thanks. That's what I have been trying to do. That is how I got here. I will try it again and see how it goes.
