@Mason-Ollerton It looks like the program waits for a background process to finish which doesn't happen (maybe it's blocked by security settings) or it doesn't know it has already finished.

Does it help if you right click on the program icon and run the software as administrator?

thanks - tried running as an administrator .. didn't work.

This is a strange one! A problem I have not seen before, I think.

One slightly off-the-wall thought: do you have a valid audio device installed and accessible on the computer and hence, available to MM?

One other thing: your email address is clearly shown on the screenshot you uploaded. In order to avoid it being harvested for spam, you might might wish to remove the existing image, obscure your email and then repost it. I can delete the image for you, if you wish but I cannot edit it to remove that address.

I have an audio device conected and have tried running with firewall turned off ... nothing seems to fix it ..

The free version is pre installed and the sounds are working ... connected to midi keyboard etc ...

Tried re-installing as well ... bizarre
