Can styles from previous versions of Music Maker be used with Version 16?

Hi, I now have Music Maker 16 Premium installed on my computer. I've purchased previous versions of Music Maker and I'd like to know if styles from previous versions can be used in Music Maker 16. The previous version I am speaking about here is Music Maker Deluxe 2005. The files appear to be different types of files.

I am using Windows 7 operating system.

Hi,

MMM 16 Premium or older if supported audio files are there then can be used. In MMM 16 Premium styles are saved in Program folder of MMM 16 Premium

C:\Program Files\MAGIX\MusicMaker16Premium in the same way if you know the styles folder of

Music Maker Deluxe 2005 just copy it and paste it some where on Hard Drive of computer or as you like.

I will suggest never play in the Program folder installed.

After saving you Music Maker Deluxe 2005 styles on Hard Drive you can use Addstyles from MMM 16 Premium and it will be added in Styles Library.

Note: this advice is not for Magix Music Maker 17 or up (in future)

You should also save your styles on CD or DVD etc.

If need help send message.

Thank you

As nihon94 said, if it is a compatible format, it will work. (See your user's manual for compatible file types.)

Be aware that the numbered bars above the media pool (that designate different keys or versions of the soundpool objects) in MM-16 will not be of any use for these older soundpools.

The older soundpools simply list all seven versions in the media pool, for example...

Crazy Sound A.ogg.........Crazy Sound G.ogg
