Can not record

I can not record.
Message - Microsoft Sound Mapper can not record this format
Reason - A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system.

I have Audio Lab 3! which works fine on my PC XP system but I can not record on my laptop which is Vista. Thought it was time to update. Can you help with my above problem

Hi,
You're using Audio Cleaning lab 3? The problem most likly is it can not address your sound hardware properly; it's a much older version and Vista has changed the software to hardware access. I thinks it's time to update your Audio Cleaning Lab.
