can not find my website on the internet

Do I have to buy a domain name in order to see my website on the internet? I finally have it published thanks to this forum but am unable to find it when i search the internet. any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

The domain name is the only way you or anyone else can see your web site. You can publish it to a hosting server, but if there is no domain name associated with it, no one will ever see it.
