can mm handle sysex midi dumps?

I've got a Boss DR-5 that I need to clean out but I want to save that data for future use and I don't want to record each track, burning up hard drive space. Without purchasing yet another software program in order to accomplish this, I was hoping MM2005 could handle this operation. Can someone please help me out here?

Hi,

I'm afraid that's a no-go. Music Maker is definitely far from being a fully-featured MIDI sequencer with proper sysex management. Samplitude Music Studio would probably much increase your chances of getting a good result here. There's a free trial of that on the Magix website. Maybe that will suffice to do a back-up of the sequences on your drum computer.

Good luck!
