Can I use M-Audio FastTrack Pro to record audio in Samplitude MX?

My Samplitude MX doesn't seem to be recognizing my M-Audio FastTrack Pro (conected By USB) as an audio input, though it is recognizing its Midi form. My hardware is my recently bought HP laptop with Windows 7, with Samplitude MX installed, an M-Audio FastTrack Pro and some microphones that are functional. What must I do for the FastTrack to appear as an audio input to record, if it is able?

Hi

Check that the M-Audio has been set as default recording device in Control Panel, Sound, Recording tab.  If it is not there then try reinstalling the drivers.

Thank You John,
Sorry for not answering back earlier, I just couldn't get my hands on the cd to reinstall the M-Audio, but i think it will work just fine now. Again thanks a million, for a moment there I thought I wouldn't be able to record.
