I recently bought a new computer and would like to install Magix Music Maker 14 onto the new computer, but I've lost the serial code to activate the new install. Is there a way to get a new code without repurchasing the program?
Did you register your copy at www.magix.com? If so, you'll just have to login at www.magix.com and visit your service-center there. It saves your serial-code.
If not...it'll be more difficult. You should contact Magix then, maybe there is a way how you can prove that you own a legal copy of it.
I'd complain anyway: designed to prevent hackers from stealing intellectual property, serial numbers wind up being nothing more than a penalty to others who, through their patronage, keep companies like Magix in business. It's not like they're doing you any favour making you go through hoops like this one: piracy is their problem, not ours.
