Yes. Pretty much got all the normal suggestions as the problem does not produce a crash report.
If it were software related would it not be replicable by another user or at least have one other topic on it posted by someone else? Also no problems reported in the reliability manager.
On the other hand the only way I can start it normally is to turn off all internet security settings which is odd as VPX and all other programs run at the default security settings and all have been added to the allow / do not scan sections of Avast and Windows defender.
I've just given up with it and accepted it as it is. It's not like the program refuses to load at all.

As far as I can tell, your problem is in the Firewall setting. I have Norton 360 and see that the Firewall setting Magix Pro X16 is set to allow. Please check that again.
These were done months ago but still every time I get.
With MMS 2024.
VPX 14 and all previous versions of both programs have installed without incident. Never had the installation problems we often see here. There is even no record of a problem within Windows.
I see that you are using Avast Free virus scanner. Personally I don't like freeware virus scanners. Disable Avast Free and set Windows Defender as your default virus scanner and see what the result is.
I had MMS 2024 installed (along with most of my other programs) before I had avast installed when I reinstalled Windows. I have always used avast since I first ditched Norton many years back when it came with prebuilt machines.
I still find it very strange that you always have to turn off all your internet security, including the virus scanner, when you start MMS2024. Especially since you do not experience any problems with the other Magix programs. Perhaps I am stating the obvious. Have you already deactivated MMS2024 via Help? You could also delete the local store content via Help and re-download my store content.
No, I never turn off or disable my internet security, I go through the additional two mouse clicks which takes about an additional 10 seconds to load the program. The only time I turn off avast is when I install a new program if at that point I have already installed avast. In the past having avast on the system has never presented a problem with any installation.

I would have to physically sit behind your computer to see where the problem lies. For now I want to leave it at that. You have a workaround to restart MMS2024, but if I do find a solution, I will definitely come back to this.
Yes that is correct but that didn't imply I could not get the program to run without turning my antivirus off. I stated it would run but I needed to re-register each time as the images I put up show.
It doesn't matter whether the computer has been switched off or not or I've used a restart or not. I have not got my PC to log me out or go into hibernation mode if inactive as I'm the only person to use the machine. I can manually put it into sleep mode if needed but tend to switch it off when not in use as it is on an isolated distribution outlet for this room only with a lot of other equipment that only has standby modes. (Minidisc recorders, amplifiers, keyboards, MIDI controller, etc.)
To my mind, as I suffer no other inconveniences to my workflow with MMS 2024 unlike VPX 14 that does not record the selections of the master volume's mastering section even in the same session, then it would probably not be a genuine Magix product 🤣🤣🤣.
Really, out of all the computer problems I have ever had, this one is almost under the radar.
