hi

i got a sony fs5

when i import mts video files in pro x 8 some video file have a short black screen in the biginning but are perfect in pro 2016 ,can you please fix this problem

First, if you want MAGIX Support to see and respond to your request you need to open a ticket through your MAGIX account page.  This is a user to user forum.

Second, are these black frames occurring at the point where the SD card is beginning to write a new file during a continuous (non-stop) recording? If so, this is a problem that happens with a lot of cameras which record digitally to memory card or even, in my case, to internal hard drive.  There is a very brief discontinuity as the card/hard drive "completes" one file and "starts" another.  There are various solutions to this but, looking at the web page for your camera - very nice, btw - I see mention of "Catalyst Prepare" software; I wonder whether one of its functions is to seamlessly join such files?

I don't have MEP 2016 so I can't comment on why it does not seem to be affected by the problem!
