Best place to purchase Web Storage

Hello,

I have already purchased a domain ending .co.uk with MAGIX for 99p per month for 12 months, however I need to also get web space/storage to upload my website via FTP. I just realised that you can buy a bundle which includes a domain & webdata for £1.99 per month, but I already purchased a domain. Is there a way I can purchase this web storage seperately, or use another website to host my website?

Most web hosting includes at least one domain name, you do not have to use it, - you can redirect your current domain name to the host.

You can, however if you are running a business website there are other factors to take into account, before you select alternative hosting to avoid the need to change host later due to changes in requirements eg:

what functionality do you want from the hosting provider? Eg: email boxes, automatic backups etc.
how much web site traffic do you anticipate ? This determines the amount of data bandwidth you require.
does the host provide a control panel for you to set and maintain backups, email boxes, email addresses etc.
do you anticipate adding video or image galleries etc ? These determine the space you require.
do you have an eCommerce / shop requirement ? If the number of items is large then you would have to consider a host providing PHP, MySQL or MSSQL and using a different 'package' or Content Management System to create and manage the website.
