Beginner's (probably) daft question

I'm trying to start with MS and have read the manual and watched a number of tutorial videos.

My question/problem is that although I can import my video clips and download them into the main project/preview window, the Timeline and Storyboard buttons are completely absent and there is nothing under the tools line other than one marked CPU.

Here's a screenshot -

I hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong!

Thanks

Thanks Gid

I had tried the Window Reset (several times) but the problem persisted.

After reading your post I tried again (same result), but then I noticed a tiny bit of blue line beneath the tools row. I clicked on it and suddenly the storyboard appeared and the Timeline button was there too.

So I'm fixed - until a new problem pops up!
