Batch change the std time length applied to imported photos MEP14

I'm importing 1200 still photos into MEP14+, need to change the standard time the program applies to an imported photo from 10s to 1f. I can't do this 1200 times, any info on either changing the program settings or doing it a batch would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!

Rob

'Program settings' [Y] key >> 'System' tab >> 'Standard picture length'.

Thanks for that info cpc000cpc.  I had been wondering if there was a way to do this in MEP for quite a while now.

In MEP15 the setting is under the Video/Audio tab instead of System.

I tried it out by setting the picture length to 2 frames and dragged in about 50 JPEG images.  It pretty much worked, EXCEPT it left a 1 frame gap every 2 photos (4 frames).  I tried again, this time setting the default length to 1 frame.  This time 1 frame gap after every 5 photos.  So even after doing the import it required some cleanup.

Since I hadn't known about this setting I've been using a couple of open source programs to do stop motion work, AVIDemux and VirtualDub.  I'll probably still use these tools for this, but it's good to know that this feature exists in MEP.  Maybe there's another setting that would eliminate the blank frames I got?

RexSteele,

Have you tried frame serving your stop motion images from VirtualDub into MEP -- as opposed to using Vdub to create the video clip? Though the menu entry say 'Open video file...', you can in fact point to the first frame of a sequentially numbered sequence. My images were thousands of 1920x1080 BMPs which MEP choked on but got smooth action by frame serving as a .vdr.avi file.
