I am still brand new to this. I used a loop to get a bass drum going. Now I'm trying to play a bass line with a soft synth. I pushed record at the beginning of the song so I could hear the bass drum intro, then started playing a bass line on the keyboard. When done I pushed stop. How do I get rid of the blank intro on the midi track so I can copy and paste only where it starts? I can only find info on editing notes, but the notes are fine. It's the blank spot BEFORE the notes I can seem to figure out how to get rid of. I know this is probably as basic as it gets...
