When I try recording from my video8 analog camera to video is only in black and white. The camera is conected through the comsposite cable. I have windows7 enterprise on my pc. How do I get the colour on my recording? Hope you can help.

Video 8 is a 8mm movie is a VHS format you must use RCA composite cable for video and sound, difference between Hi8 you use SVHS cable (5 pins connector). Check in the capture window probably a radio button to select between VHS and SVHS input. In the past I meet this problem with an another program and the solution was inappropriate button selected. Check also your cable connection some high quality RCA cable must be unscrew the end to fit on the connector ans screw after.
