Hi Mike, sometimes the gaps between the tracks simply aren't clear, long enough, difference in volume not clear enough etc. You can still set them manually, it's not hard. Place the cursor on the timeline, by clicking the left mouse button, and depressing the letter M on your keyboard.

Do watch out when you come to either export the file to your hard drive as MP3 for instance, you choose each track in its own file with names.

If you want to burn a disc, i.e. Audio CD, then click on tracklist before actually burning, to see if they are all individually listed.
