Audio Cleaner Pro (Mac) doesn't "see" my cd drive at all.

I can neither import cd tracks or burn a cd.  Now call me stupid but I thought this software was supposed to be able to do this.  Is there a method of selecting the drive?  Might the fact that I am now running Mavericks?  It would be helpful if others were having the same problem or if Magix are looking into the problem.
