AUDIO

I have been using Magix Movie Studio 2025 and its predecessors, on and off, for some years. I have always been extremely irritated by its habit of cluttering up my files with its big 'M' unwanted audio extractions often from non existent sounds. I have studied options but never found a way to stop this happening. Can anyone give me a clue about this?

@markmercer

Hi

Assuming the files you are referring to have .hdp and .h0 extensions, you cannot stop these being generated, they are support files used by the program, one contains the small preview image you see on the video objects, and the other the waveform in audio objects, once your projects are finished, you can delete them.

If you ever revisit a 'finished project' the files will be regenerated by the program.

Thanks for that response. I don't need to feel quite so inadequate now!
