assign category

I have the free trial of Photo Manager Deluxe (17) and I am so very new to any photo management software. I need step by step instructions on how to assign categories. Actually I need to have step by step instruction for everything except music and videos. Apparently the manual is not available on the free trial. I am using a HP laptop with Windows 10. Thank you.

Hi,

There is no pdf manual. Press on F1 and you'll have the manual; it should be available with the trial version. This manual describes how to create and assign categories.

@Deana-Butler

I hope that pressing F1 when you're in Photo Manager gives you the manual for Photo Manager and not Windows!

If you look at other Magix programs, the F1 type manual is usually the same as the pdf manual, just in a different format. And, the F1 manual seems to get updated before any pdf manual.

Hi

. . . . The F1 key only gives me the Windows 10 manual but thank you for responding. . . . .

Do you mean it opens a web browser page for Windows Help?

AFAIK the issue is not a limitation of the trial version - an alternative to the program help content is through Help, Content.
